Trig Problem (has actual use)

I noticed this in Mr. Stigant’s class today, it’s not that cool but I haven’t posted on tumblr in a while so I’ll post this.
cos( arcsin(x)) = sqrt(1-x^2)
sin( arccos(x)) = sqrt(1-x^2)
arcsin(x) and arccos(x) are the inverse sin and cos of x

A Prime Series, episode 5
This will be the last episode of the prime series for a while (a new series will show up) and probably the first that can’t be solved by wolframalpha. This is also an “unscheduled” episode, as I didn’t put this in my queue.

First Android App Updates
Ok so I found out that my app has problems with the Motorola Droid and since I don’t have one, I’m not sure how I’m going to fix that issue. The interface works on the Droid from what I can tell however the API for sending Text Messages must be different. The Droid uses Android 2.0 and my HTC Hero uses 1.5 so they might have changed the API a bit from 1.5 to 2.0. When my phone...
